The Omaha area's first new traditional community designed according to the principles of New Urbanism is on the drawing board. The neighborhood's founder is me, Herb Freeman, and this is my blog, New Herbanism. The place is 168th and State Street in Douglas County, northwest of Omaha, Nebraska. Watch this space for periodic postings on the topics of new urbanism, traditional neighborhood development, real estate development in the Omaha area, and the progress of the project at 168th and State; all collectively called "New Herbanism."
